We arrive in Bali nice and early, which means a whole first day of holiday power.
On 11 October, two small explorers fly from Singapore to Bali on a mission involving pools, tropical water, giant slides, cheeky monkeys and a suspicious amount of chocolate.
Our story begins at Changi. Then — zip! — one plane ride later, Bali appears.
Our base is the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali — a tropical headquarters with some very useful holiday superpowers.
Important family food rule: no pork and no alcohol. Grown-ups will keep watch.
This is not a strict schedule. Every day can choose its own personality.
Put on the masks, float in the shallows and hunt for fishy treasures.
Slides, pools and splash zones. The package gives us 20% off Waterbom entry.
A cliff, monkeys, a giant ocean view and sunset drama.
A big animal day if we feel like leaving the pool kingdom.
